  bring the 'Gift of Reiki' to our annual holiday wellness support group on
  Friday\, December 11. Each year\, Reiki practitioners visit our December 
  group to generously share their healing talents with Lyme disease patient
 s. This lovely tradition began in 2010 when Reiki Master Ellie Kirk first 
 joined us. The program is free and open to patients and their family membe
 rs. \n\nReiki is an ancient Japanese healing technique for stress reductio
 n\, relaxation\, and restoration of balance and health based on the princi
 ple that 'life force energy' flows through us. It is administered by 'layi
 ng on hands' on or above a fully-clothed person. \n\nReiki gently treats t
 he whole person: physically\, emotionally\, mentally\, and spiritually. It
  strengthens one's natural ability to heal. Results after a session includ
 e feelings of peace and well-being. \n\nDeborah began her personal quest h
 ealing in 1999. She became a Reiki Master in 2001. Her mission is to share
  with others what she has learned and experienced which has brought greate
 r clarity and happiness in her life. Her desire is to bring peace and calm
  to others through healing energy treatments and dialogue.\n\nDeborah Gayl
 ord can be reached at 203-733-4535. She has an office in  Ridgefield and  
 also makes home visits for those who cannot travel.\n\n
