During SummerFest 2014, merchants and vendors will decorate the town in a way that recalls the good old days! Festivities start Friday night, July 18th, with Ridgefield a Go Go in Ballard park, a party featuring live music, dancing, contest, demonstrations and, at sunset, the Lawn Blanket Drive-In featuring a 1964 movie blockbuster. On Saturday, July 20th, Ridgefield’s Bailey Avenue and a Section of Main Street will be closed to create a pedestrian mall as vendors and merchants wrap their offerings in a ‘60s theme. Live music and events will take place all day on the Main Street Stage. Visitors to SummerFest will also be treated to Groovin' at a Cruise-In in the parking lot of Governor Street where vintage cars, trucks, and motorcycles will be on display.
