Ridgefield's Safety Day, sponsored by the Ridgefield Police Department is a day of fun, helicopter fly-ins, extrication demonstration put on by the fire department a child car seat install/safety check, police K-9 demonstration, a dunk booth, and face painting for the kids. There will vendors and other Ridgefield organizations. Following the event will be a police vs. fire softball game!
